Après Spam Me, où il mettait des pourriels en chanson, CE François Couture se penche sur diverses difficultés de communication. Miscommunication s’intéresse à la manière dont nos élites politiques détournent le sens de la volonté populaire, à la difficulté qu’ont les parents de parler de sexualité à leurs enfants, au jeu de la traduction et aux troubles de la communication.

Musicalement, l’album va du swing post-apocalyptique à la chorale à une seule voix démultipliée, en passant par une suite pour pianos multiples, un oratorio électroacoustique et une lamentation post-électorale.

After Spam Me, where he set spam emails to songs, CE François Couture turns to various communication complications. Miscommunication features pieces about how our political elites hijack the will of the people, about parents’ difficulties of talking about sex to their offspring, about what gets lost in translation, and about illnesses that prevent you from communicating.

Musically, the album runs from post-apocalyptic swing to a one-voice choir, a suite for multiple pianos, an electroacoustic oratorio, and a post-election lament.
