Le 13 juillet 2019, Guillaume Cloutier était dans mon studio pour enregistrer son album Accidental Raga (publié sous le nom Guiom), qui consiste en une seule pièce d’une vingtaine de minutes pour guitare électrique et drone. Déjà pendant la session, j’entendais des arrangements. Aussi magnifique soit la composition dans son état solo, j’ai ressenti le désir tenace d’en réaliser une version « groupe rock imaginaire ». J’ai donc ajouté voix drone, claviers, basse et batterie. En hommage à Guillaume et à sa première composition majeure.

N.B. La version solo d’Accidental Raga a été enregistrée sans métronome. Mon arrangement s’agrippe autant que possible aux variations de tempo toutes naturelles de Guillaume.
